Swiss Super League
The Swiss Super League or Axpo Super League is the top tier of the Swiss Football League. The Swiss Super League is currently ranked 13th according to UEFA's ranking of league coefficients, which is based upon Swiss team performances in European competitions.

Promotion/Relegation from 2009–10 Season
- FC Aarau was relegated to the Challenge League by finishing 10th.
- FC Thun finished first in the Challenge League.
- AC Bellinzona, who finished ninth in the Axpo Super League, won 2–1 on aggregate against FC Lugano, who finished second in the Challenge League. So AC Bellinzona will stay in the Axpo Super League while FC Lugano continues to play in the Challenge League.
